The Perspectives Therapy Services clinic in Brighton, Michigan is located at 2200 Genoa Business Park Drive in Suite 100. We are near the St. Joseph Woodland Hospital and across Grand River Avenue from 242 Church. The professional, yet welcoming environment of this clinic offers an array of expertly designed therapy spaces, making it the largest outpatient mental health practice in Livingston County with more than 30 providers with unique specializations available to meet the needs of community members. Individual therapy, marriage therapy and family therapy are all types of counseling that are offered at the Brighton PTS clinic.

From the first step into our suite, you are invited to rest and relax in our waiting room with soothing music, mandalas to color and a slideshow to assist in being mindful and present in the moment. We encourage our guests to leave the hustle and bustle of the day in the parking lot and use the entire therapy experience as a way to refocus and reset. We keep distractions to a minimum so that clients can do the important work of meeting their goals and making positive changes. Our team members’ warm greetings and smiling faces help guests quickly feel like PTS is their mental health home.

A broad range of treatments are offered at the Brighton PTS clinic that include targeting depression, anxiety, couples counseling, family therapy, child therapy, grief and loss, work stress, difficulty with life transitions, teen specific counseling, parent-child relationship problems, disordered eating, and addiction. Our Brighton clinical team truly love building strong relationships with their clients and using their interests and strengths to assist in the therapeutic journey. Our guests participate in a collaborative relationship with their therapist, getting to know him or her as an advocate, support, guide and teammate.

Our Brighton clinic is known for its’ innovative Wellness Center identity whereby we bring together healing of different types. At this site, a large yoga/movement studio is available for groups or families. Complimentary yoga classes are offered to every client of PTS from any clinic on Thursdays at 7:30pm (pre-registration is required). A space for meditation is offered to guests either before or after their therapy session to ground themselves and incorporate this into their therapy routine. Additionally, private yoga studios are available for individualized meditation and mindfulness coaching. An art therapy space welcomes clients of all ages to unleash their imagination and use different forms of expression on their therapeutic journey. Several customized play therapy spaces are reserved for our younger clients between the ages of 4 and 11 years old. A number of our therapists specialize in working with teens and as such, have therapy spaces that feel like comfortable “hang outs” to connect optimally with adolescents.

Special care is taken to create spaces that are comfortable and clean for our guests of all ages. Psychiatric services are available through Perspectives Therapy Services in addition to counseling services. Psychiatric providers practice out of the Brighton clinic.
