Philosophy

I believe that each client is the expert of their own life and has the ability to thrive and grow. As a counselor, it is my responsibility to walk alongside my client as a source of support on their journey toward growth and wellbeing. Therapy can be daunting and challenging, which is why I strive to create an atmosphere of empathy, trust, and understanding.

Personal Statement

Participating in therapy as a client has been one of the hardest and most rewarding experiences of my life. I want to provide each of my clients the support and guidance to make their experience fulfilling and rewarding. Every client is inherently worthy of empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. I am passionate about helping clients explore their strengths and self-worth. I feel honored when clients choose to share their stories with me and let me enter their world.

About me

What do you love doing more than anything in the world?
I love cuddling with my dog while watching movies and eating popcorn.

What is the self-care strategy you use most often?
It is a tie between reading and playing video games.

What was your dream job in elementary school?
I wanted to be a professional puppy cuddler (I was really sad when I found out this wasn’t a thing).

What is your favorite movie of all time?
Pride and Prejudice

Describe your ideal vacation. Has it happened yet?
I love traveling to new places and learning about new cultures, so my ideal vacation would be a six-month trip where I get to visit as many countries as I can while staying with locals to learn about their culture. Unfortunately, this has not happened yet.

What is the most delicious meal you can imagine?
Any meal that ends with a rich, chocolate dessert!
