Philosophy
I believe counseling is a safe place to ask for help, search for hope, and work for positive change. Each of us are made up from our own experiences, mine have led me to help others and taught me that each of us deserve our own individualized care. I believe in meeting you exactly where you are in your journey while also providing a safe and non-judgmental space to express yourself. During the good moments and the challenging times, I will be by your side, with optimism to guide and eagerness to reinforce growth.
Personal Statement
We are all traveling down our road of life searching for meaning and working to move mountains: however, on this epic journey most of us at times find ourselves feeling defeated or getting lost along the way. Though counseling I aim to be an active passenger on your journey supplying guidance based on your own intuition and experiences. Together we will strive to create a space where we can facilitate your own growth and explore your life goals, values, and boundaries. My hope is that toward the end of our journey together you’ll see yourself not lost to be found but as an explorer prepared and excited to travel new roads.
About me
What do you love doing more than anything in the world?
More than anything in this world, I like to spend time with my loved ones, creating new memories whether they be big or small, out and about or just relaxing at home.
What is the self-care strategy you use most often?
Self-care has been a hard habit to create, but my motto is “Progress is Perfection.” Even though my routine may not be always constant and at times I may fail, I embrace that idea that rest, recovery, and reflection are essential and I keep trying; aligning myself through physical exercise at the gym/hiking, or expressing myself through a variety of art projects.
Describe your ideal vacation. Has it happened yet?
My ideal vacation is packing up a few bags, a few of my favorite people, and hitting the road. Spontaneity is a key aspect of exploring, enjoying, and creating many unique moments.
