Philosophy
I am passionate about helping clients to relieve suffering, build resilience, and pursue wellness. This begins with a strong therapeutic relationship between the counselor and the client, which requires safety and trust. I want to understand your story and work with you to set goals. I will utilize an integrative approach to therapy, based on your unique needs. My goal is to help you live your optimal life.
Personal Statement
Life can be difficult, but therapy can help! With my caring and gentle nature, I will create a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to express yourself freely. I will work collaboratively with you, exploring your issues and working toward the achievement of your goals. Having worked as an educator for over 20 years, I bring life experience to my second career in mental health counseling. Additionally, I have worked as a yoga instructor for the past decade, offering workshops on yoga for anxiety and depression. I love learning, and I will do all I can to understand your story, support you in your healing, and guide you toward a more fulfilling life.
