Philosophy

I believe that therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, compassion, and patience. By focusing on strengths, the here-and-now, and the therapeutic relationship, we can work together toward the change you feel ready for.

Personal Statement

Therapy is a collaborative process, and it is important for clients to understand their role and responsibility in that process in order to obtain the changes that they want. It is my role to fully support clients on their journey and meet them where they are through empathy and positive regard.

I believe the most powerful tool in the therapy process lies within the therapeutic relationship itself. That is why my ultimate goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space for clients built on trust, empathy, cultural sensitivity, and emotional support. We will work collaboratively on goals using your strengths, abilities, and resources to find solutions that work for you. I work with individuals, couples, and families of all ages dealing with a variety of issues such as adjustment and/or transitional life changes, couple/family conflict, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and more.

About me

What do you love doing more than anything in the world?
I very much enjoy live music! I frequently go to concerts with my boyfriend and friends.

What is the self-care strategy you use most often?
Nature is my go-to. Whether that includes hiking, going to the beach, camping, or just taking my dog for a walk around the neighborhood, being outside reminds me to be present in the moment.

What was your dream job in elementary school?
I wanted to be a writer. And it is still a dream, as I hope to write a book someday!

What is your favorite movie of all time?
It is too hard to pick just one, but I enjoy mystery, thriller, and crime movies.

Describe your ideal vacation. Has it happened yet?
Somewhere that has a nice mix of relaxation and culture. Thailand is next on my bucket list!

What is the most delicious meal you can imagine?
I love tapas! A variety of small finger foods so I can try a little bit of everything.
