Philosophy
We’re all seeking to be understood and validated as people. Understanding and validation, when coupled with a healthy interpretation and resolution of life experiences, results in fulfillment, significance and even healthy functioning within relationships. I believe individual therapy should be the ultimate setting where the individual feels empowered to engage in a journey of self-discovery, gaining appropriate perspective of their life experiences. Each client deserves to feel the excitement of moving toward optimal functioning and self-actualization.
Personal Statement
I sought a career in the counseling and mental health professions after deep, personal experiences showed me the fulfillment that occurs when a person feels valued and truly heard. If you should decide to partner with me in the wonderful journey of individual therapy, it is my pledge that I will do all I can to see that you also enjoy this same experience.
